S&H Green Stamps, most popular in the 1960s, were given for purchases made at supermarkets and other retailers. You’d lick and stick them into booklets and then redeem them for housewares and other items at a Green Stamps store. They are now S&H Greenpoints, a digital version of the original.
A phillumenist collects matchbooks and matchcovers.
A couple of theories on the name “Ouija”:
1) A combination of “oui” (“yes” in French) and “ja” (“yes” in German). 2) An ancient Egyptian word meaning good luck.
